Assistive Listening Available

The Lake Oswego Public Library has an Assistive Listening System that helps people hear better during events that take place on the library’s main floor. The system filters the sound to emphasize the voices and transmits it to a receiver you wear around your neck. If you have a hearing aid with a telecoil (aka t-coil or t-switch), the sound can be sent directly to your hearing aid. If you do not have a hearing aid with a telecoil, you may borrow headphones to plug into the receiver, or you may bring your own headphones.  If you would like to borrow an assistive listening receiver during a library event, just ask a library staff member at the event.
