Card Options

  • In Oregon: Resident of Clackamas County (except Johnson City), Multnomah County, Washington County, Hood River County. In Washington: Clark County, Klickitat County, Skamania County, the City of Camas, the city of Woodland, and the Yale Library Precinct in Cowlitz County.
  • Valid government-issued photo ID
  • Proof of current residential address

General cardholders may check out up to 80 items and may place up to 40 holds. Please apply in person at the library or at one of our outreach events.

  • Resident of Lake Oswego and/or Clackamas County
  • Age 5 or older

An eCard grants immediate access to online resources, including eBooks and eAudiobooks. You may place up to three physical items on hold, but must upgrade to a General, full-service library card to check them out. If you already have a LINCC library card, you already have access to all available library services and do not need an eCard.

  • Educator who lives in/works in Clackamas County
  • Valid government-issued photo ID
  • Proof of current educator status

An Educator Card offers educators living in Clackamas County, or teaching at a school located in LINCC’s service area, access to more than one million items to check out for classroom use. Benefits of this card include checking out up to 80 physical items, placing up to 40 holds, keeping items for 6 weeks, and an exemption from overdue fines. Expires annually on 6/30. Home Delivery

The Lake Oswego Public Library offers a home delivery program for Lake Oswego residents who face difficulties coming to the library. We will deliver books and other library materials right to your door. This can be on a temporary or permanent basis. You may choose your own titles or let a librarian select for you, according to your preferences. Read more here.

  • Resident of the area but cannot provide proof of residency

Temporary cardholders may check out up to 5 items and may place 5 holds. Cards provide access to online resources and to cultural passes. Cards expire after 1 year. Please apply in person at the Library.

Lake Oswego Public Library is participating in the Oregon Library Passport Program. This is a free service that lets patrons check out items at any other participating library across the state. If you choose to participate in this program, your borrowing privileges will be determined by the participating library, and all items must be returned to the library where they were borrowed. Card expires after 1 year. Over 100 libraries across the state, including some university and college libraries are participating. See the complete list of Participating Libraries.

  • Institution in Lake Oswego (examples include schools, retirement homes, nursing homes, assisted living)
  • Proof of employment at institution as designated cardholder

Assigned to organizations instead of individuals. Holds can be picked up at your local library or shipped to the school through the Clackamas County ESD courier if eligible. Institutions may check out up to 300 items and place up to 50 holds. Cards expire annually on 6/30. Please apply in person at the Library.
