Or:  Borrow a Kindle eReader

The Lake Oswego Public Library has purchased several models of Kindle e-readers, and we’ve loaded them with 650+ books, mostly bestsellers and patron requests.  The Kindles may be borrowed for 4 weeks, with no renewal option.  To place a request to borrow a Kindle e-reader from the library, talk to a librarian at 503-697-6581 or 503-675-2540.

To discover what titles have been loaded on the Kindles, check out our new blog.  On it, we feature books that are new to our circulating Kindles, plus a listing of all 650+ books loaded onto the Kindles over the past several years.  And you can do a keyword search of the blog to see if we own a particular book, or titles by a particular author.  The URL:  http://www.lakeozkindles.wordpress.com

There are Kindles available for Children and Young adults as well. Call the Youth Services librarians at 503-534-5671 to reserve a youth Kindle today!
