First Tuesday Music: Double-Reed Divas

Tuesday, April 3, 2018 - 7:00pm to 8:30pm

The Double-Reed Divas, an ensemble of the Oregon Chamber Players, will perform as part of the Lake Oswego Public Library First Tuesday Music Series. This free concert will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 3.

The Divas are a Portland-based trio of musicians--Victoria Racz, Dagny Rask Regan, and Ann van Bever-- who each play multiple double-reed instruments: oboe, oboe d'amore, English horn, and bassoon. What is an oboe d'amore, you ask? You should come to the concert to find out, but we think you'll love it!

The Divas have played concerts throughout western Oregon. They perform a crowd-pleasing range of music, from the classical chamber repertoire to jazz standards and original compositions.

This concert, part of the library's First Tuesday Music Series, is sponsored by the Friends of the Lake Oswego Public Library. Admission is free. The library is at 706 Fourth Street, Lake Oswego, OR 97034. For more information, contact Chris Myers, 503-534-5667 / cmyers@lakeoswego.city
