First Tuesday Music: WildWood String Quartet

Portland-based string ensemble the WildWood Quartet will perform at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7, at Lake Oswego Public Library, as part of the library's First Tuesday Music series. They will be performing a wide variety of musical numbers: full-length string quartets by Mendelssohn and Mozart, popular classical selections, opera tunes, and even a little rock and roll.

WildWood are Hae-Jin Kim and Joy Fabos on violin, Angelika Furtwangler on viola, and Katherine Schultz on cello. When they are not rehearsing and performing string quartets they can be found playing with the Oregon Ballet Theatre, Portland Opera, Portland Chamber Orchestra, Oregon Symphony, and Pink Martini.
