Freedom to Read Month: Book Discussion Giveaway
In anticipation of our Freedom to Read Month Book Discussion, part of our exciting lineup of Freedom to Read Month events in October, we're announcing a free giveaway of 20 copies of All Boys Aren't Blue by George M. Johnson, a powerful memoir targeted by censorship. Pick up your copy on September 8 at the library, while supplies last.
To delve deeper into the book's themes and impact, we're hosting a community discussion in October at the Heritage House, sponsored in part by the Lake Oswego chapter of the American Association of University Women (AAUW). The discussion will be held at the Heritage House from 10am-11am on Saturday, October. Learn more about the book discussion here.
This program is part of our Freedom to Read Month series. Learn more here: www.lopl.org/freedomtoread.
