Home Delivery Services
MATERIALS BY MAIL (Temporary/One-Time Request)
Car in the shop? Kids home sick? On bedrest? If you would like your library holds mailed to your home, please call the library at 503-697-6582 and request Materials By Mail. The library assistant will take your information and pack your materials to be delivered to you via USPS.
HOME DELIVERY (Ongoing Need)
If circumstances prohibit you from visiting the library as often as you'd like, you may be interested in our Home Delivery service. To sign up, please fill out the enrollment form at the bottom of the page, or print it using the link to the right. Printed forms can be mailed to the library's street address.
How does it work?
Once we receive your enrollment form, we will call you to discuss your preferences. This includes whether you'd like a librarian to select materials for you, when and how often you'd like deliveries, and any special instructions for you or your residence. Please note that enrolling in Home Delivery services means that all materials you put on hold will be delivered to you and no longer available for pickup at the Library. You may cancel Home Delivery enrollment at any time.
What can be borrowed through Home Delivery?
Any item in the LINCC catalog, including books and world languages materials for all ages, large print materials, books on CD, music CDs, DVDs, magazines, and Library of Things items.
Check-out periods for items borrowed through Home Delivery
Most materials will have a 6 week checkout. Library of Things items circulate for 2 weeks. There will be no overdue fines on any items, but those using the service will be responsible for lost or damaged items.
