HYBRID: Bridging Divides: A Presentation About Political Polarization in America and How We Can Come Together to Solve Tough Problems.

Saturday, November 18, 2023 - 2:00pm to 3:00pm

Join us for a presentation by Bill Howe, lead presenter for the nonprofit SAGE Citizen Project, about bridging political divides so communities can come together to solve tough problems.
Political polarization creates policy gridlock, undermines our democratic institutions, and divides us. Join us for a presentation on how we can constructively problem solve in spite of differences between left and right.

We’ll consider:

  • What is driving political polarization in America.
  • Where can we go from here.
  • What one person can do to bridge divides.

So we, as Oregonians, can move forward in a productive way.

Admission is free and no sign-up is necessary.  The library is located at 706 Fourth Street, Lake Oswego, OR 97034. For more information, please email librarian Todd Feinman tfeinman@lakeoswego.city

This presentation will be livestreamed here:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UMgwpgerE-U
