HYBRID First Tuesday Music: A Musical Journey to Persia with Hossein Salehi

Join master musician Hossein Salehi for an illuminating introduction to the santoor, a traditional Persian hammered dulcimer. Through live demonstration, he will explore the instrument’s history, sound, and Western relatives. Salehi, a multi‑award‑winning Master Artist and founder of ArtMax Academy, has performed with ensembles such as Pink Martini, the Oregon Symphony, and the Portland Chamber Orchestra.
