HYBRID: Rose High Bear Presents on the Elderberry Wisdom Farm
Rose High Bear (Deg Hit'an Dine, Inupiaq), Founder/Director of Elderberry Wisdom Farm, will share the history and projects of this Native American nonprofit which recently formed in the mid-Willamette Valley to serve the Native American community. Our most recent project focuses upon providing Internships in Traditional Ecological Knowledge for Native American adults learning more about their heritage and rich cultural values and how they can strengthen their own career pathway and start their own microenterprise business.
This event, which is made possible by the Friends of the Lake Oswego Public Library, will take place in-person at the Library and will be broadcasted on Tualatin Valley Community Television and livestreamed on LOPL’s YouTube channel. For more information, please call or email Adult Services Manager, Allison Arnold at 503-564-5665 / aarnold@lakeoswego.city.
