Join award-winning author Michael Balter on Tuesday, March 19 at 5:30pm as he discusses his debut novel, Chasing Money, winner of the 2023 Best Indie Book Award for Crime Thrillers. This gritty, heart-pounding thriller pits two partners in a struggling Lake Oswego startup against an angry Russian killer seeking $10 million and a missing painting. Michael is an accomplished storyteller whose book was inspired by his own experiences as an entrepreneur. He extensively researched the real masterpiece at the heart of his story, which was looted by Nazis in World War 2 and has never been found. 

This event will take place in-person at the Library and will be livestreamed on LOPL's YouTube channel.
