Kanopy Film Streaming Service

Kanopy, the on-demand streaming service, offers more than 30,000 of the world’s best films, including award-winning documentaries, rare and hard-to-find titles, film festival favorites, indie and classic films, and world cinema.

Films can be streamed from any computer, television, mobile device or platform by downloading the Kanopy app for iOS, Android, AppleTV, Chromecast, Fire Tablet or Roku. Wi-Fi or Internet access or device data (data rates may apply) is required.

Enjoy your 15 Tickets per calendar month. As you browse for titles, you'll see the number of tickets required to watch each title and how long you have to watch it. Note that your Lake Oswego access includes Kanopy Kids, which does not require tickets and is always free.

Kanopy is available free through Lake Oswego Public Library for LINCC Library card holders, whose home library is Lake Oswego.

To access from a web desktop computer or mobile web browser:
First time users

1. Go to Lake Oswego Kanopy Page


2. Select “Add a library card”


3. Enter your library card number and PIN  (If you don't know your PIN, try the last four of your phone number)


4. Then, select Continue.


5. Create your Kanopy account - either enter your email and details or select Sign up with an existing Apple or Google account


6. After you create your account, select Watch Now to get started 

Returning users

1. To start watching content on our Kanopy platform after sign up, visit our direct link Lake Oswego Kanopy Page


2. Select “Have a Kanopy Account? Log in”


3. Enter the login and password you used to create your Kanopy account
