Libby, by Overdrive

Lake Oswego Library patrons have access to thousands of e-books and e-audiobooks with their Libraries in Clackamas County (LINCC) library card.

Borrow e-books, e-magazines, and e-audiobooks to read on your computer, smartphone, or tablet using the Libby app by OverDrive. You can send and read borrowed e-books to Kindle devices. 

Just like physical books, each e-book, e-magazine title or series, and e-audiobook has a certain number of copies available. If all available copies are checked out, you can place a hold on the title, and you'll be notified when it's available for checkout.

To access:

1. Download the Libby app or open Libby on your computer.

2. When asked to search for your library, scroll down and select Oregon Digital Library Consortium.

3. Next, select Sign In With My Card.

4. From the list of libraries, select Libraries in Clackamas County as your library. (Lake Oswego Library will not be listed separately because we subscribe at a county level.)

5. Enter your library card number and four digit PIN (If you don't know your PIN, try the last four of your phone number).

6. Search for an e-book, e-audiobook, or e-magazine and check it out or place a hold.

7. If you are reading with a Kindle, select "Read With Kindle" when your loan is available and then follow the Amazon link to complete your download.
