Library of Things: Fall Gardening with Master Gardener Kris LaMar

Saturday, September 21, 2019 - 12:00pm to 1:00pm

In the spring, every gardener’s heart begins to beat faster; the garden centers are full of beautiful, promising plants, and fertilizers and pesticides abound. However, the “true” gardener knows that fall is the time to plan, plant, and protect.  Perennial plants do better when planted in the fall, spring-blooming bulbs are ready to be earthbound, and the sales are everywhere!  It’s also the best time to learn how to keep the odds down of last year’s pests returning. Join Master Gardener Kris LaMar for this free presentation, and take a look at the gardening tool kit that will be available for check-out from the Library of Things collection!
