NaNoWriMo: Come Write In!
November is NaNoWriMo, National Novel Writing Month! Are you an aspiring writer? Always have a story in your head, but haven’t put it to paper yet? Now is your chance! NaNoWriMo is a month-long challenge and anyone can participate. Lake Oswego Public Library is proud to be a NaNoWriMo Come Write In Partner and welcomes all participants to Come Write In at the library! Tables will be reserved for NaNoWriMo participants on the second floor of the library throughout the month. In addition to utilizing our dedicated writing space, please also join us for the following programs:
Tuesday, November 1: NaNoWriMo Kick Off at the Lake Oswego Library, 4-7 PM
- Whether you’re ready to take on the challenge—or just want more information about National Novel Writing Month—stop by the second floor to chat with us, pick up some NaNoWriMo resources and goodies, and, if you’re ready, start your novel!
Wednesday, November 16: NaNoWriMo Participant Check-In on Zoom, 5:30 PM
- You’re half way through NaNoWriMo, so join us and your fellow writers (AKA Wrimos) for a virtual check-in. Registration for this Zoom event is required.
Thursday, December 1: NaNoWriMo Wrap Up-Celebration at the Lake Oswego Library, 5:30 PM
- Whether you wrote 500 words or 50,000 words, join us to celebrate making it through NaNoWriMo 2022 with cupcakes and community!
