Nominated for a UNESCO Prize, the Global Art Project is an international art exchange for peace which has involved 160,000 participants in 95 countries on seven continents. 200+ Regional Coordinators help to organize and spread the word in their part of the world. The Project was founded in Tucson, Arizona, USA in 1993 by artist, Katherine Josten.  Participants create a work of art in any medium, expressing their vision of global peace and goodwill. The art is displayed locally in each participant’s community. Global Art Project then organizes an international exchange by matching participants—group-to-group and individual-to-individual.

Denali Brooke is a participant and presenter for the Global Art Project for Peace. She has lived most of her life in the Southwest - Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado. She has been teaching workshops, individuals and small groups for 8 years. She graduated from the University of Arizona Department of Art with an emphasis in graphic design and illustration. She is an award-winning pastel artist and Signature member of the Pastel Society of America. While living in New Mexico and Colorado, she was a faculty member at both New Mexico Art League (2013 - 2019), in Albuquerque, and Center of the Arts Evergreen (2018-2020), in Evergreen.
