Doan's latest novel, Lady Sunshine, takes place in the summer of 1979, when cousins Jackie and Willa find a life-changing bond and infinite freedom on a sprawling bohemian coastal estate...until one of them disappears. Two decades later, Jackie inherits the property and must race to discover if the dark secrets she's kept about that summer are even the truth at all.

Bestselling author Amy Mason Doan grew up in Danville, California and now lives in Portland, Oregon. As a journalist, she’s written for The OregonianSan Francisco Chronicle, Wired, Forbes, and other publications. Amy has an M.A. in Journalism from Stanford University and a B.A. in English from U.C. Berkeley. Her novels The Summer List and Summer Hours are out now, and Lady Sunshine publishes on June 29, 2021. All are multi-layered narratives about secrets, lifelong friendship, and the inescapable tug of the past.
