The Office of the Director of National Intelligence submitted to Congress a preliminary report regarding Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP)

Since childhood, Tom has been interested in science, science fiction, and the ideas of space travel and contact with other intelligent life beyond Earth.
During his college years in Illinois, he discovered books by J.B. Rhine and others about research into the paranormal.  After graduation in 1969, he continued reading science fiction and speculative books like “Chariots of the Gods”.

After moving to Oakland, CA, in 1974, he began reading more serious UFO literature.  Reading about the Betty and Barney Hill abduction and the Travis Walton abduction prompted him to become more involved, and soon he became a member and field investigator for the Aerial Phenomena Research Organization.

Tom joined MUFON in 2000, and became the Oregon State Director in 2003.  In this position, he holds monthly meetings with members and interested guests, and directs UFO the MUFON field investigators in Oregon.  He also continues to read and wonder about the mystery we call UFOs.
