Performing Arts: Pickled Peppers Kitchen Band
Join us for an afternoon of stories, humor and American Music in the Folk Tradition.
Since 2010 the Pickled Peppers Kitchen Band has been delighting audiences throughout the Portland area. The members of this all female kitchen band range in age from 50 to 80 and believe music builds community. The Band's music can be described as Americana with its roots in Bluegrass and traditional folk music. With guitar, ukulele, banjo, washboard, gut bucket bass, assorted rhythm instruments and tight harmonies, the band engages audiences with humor and music that is 'comfort food for the ears.'
