The mission of the photo collection is to visually document the history of Lake Oswego and its environs and to maintain, preserve, and protect the collection in a safe repository with access available to library patrons and visitors.
Use, Reproduction, & Publication:
The Lake Oswego Public Library collection of more than 6,000 historic photographs has been scanned at 600 dpi whenever possible. The original collection is available from the library website at the following link: Historic Photo Database We are in the process of creating and populating a digital archive which will include the photos from the historic photos database along with documents and the collections belonging to the Oswego Heritage Council.
