Poetry Group

Join fellow poetry lovers for a monthly discussion group about poetry, poets, and our own writing practices, and take advantage of opportunities to share your work or grow your poetry-writing practice with others in a supportive environment! There will be time set aside for poetry readings, so feel free to read a poem of your own or one written by a published author that you'd like to share. All are welcome and encouraged to participate! If no one wishes to share, a facilitator will lead the group through a free write exercise. The meeting schedule will also include time for introductions, discussion questions, and resource sharing. Light refreshments will be available. All are welcome to attend, including newcomers, and we hope to see you there! If you have any questions, please email Rachael Hyde at rhyde@lakeoswego.city.
