Rover Pop-Up Library at Jean Road Fire Station

Thursday, June 13, 2024 - 11:00am to 2:00pm

Celebrate the last day of school with the Lake Oswego Public Library and Lake Oswego Fire Department! We’ll be cohosting a pop-up library event for all ages at the Jean Road Fire Station on Thursday, June 13 from 11 AM to 2 PM. Come meet your local firefighters and librarians, check out the fire truck and different kinds of fire gear, learn more about the library’s Summer Library Challenge, and browse library materials for all ages. Don’t miss the free popcorn (while supplies last) or Storytime with a Firefighter at 1 PM in the fire station bay! (Please note that firefighters are on duty and may be called away during the event to respond to emergencies.)

We’ll also have a special selection of fire and safety-related books for checkout, free plastic fire helmets and sticker badges, information about disaster preparedness and fire safety, new library card registration, and our mobile seed library. All are welcome, and we hope to see you there!

Limited parking is available behind the fire station (please do not park on the curb). Additional parking is available across the street at the tennis court. After 12:30, parking will also be available across the street at Lakeridge Middle School.

To learn more, visit www.lopl.org/rover or call the library at 503-675-2540.
