Seed to Stewardship: A Garden Walk & Seed Harvesting Introduction with the Oswego Lake Watershed Council
Part of the Adult Summer Library Challenge
Join us for a guided garden walk at Woodmont Park, led by the Oswego Lake Watershed Council! The event will begin with a short introduction to seed harvesting and why saving seeds matters for healthy ecosystems, resilient gardens, and biodiversity. Participants will then explore a local garden while learning about plants, seasonal cycles, pollinators, and connections to watershed health. Perfect for curious gardeners, nature lovers, and anyone interested in growing a deeper connection to the natural world.
As the hope is for us to be able to harvest seeds together, all participants will be asked to sign the City of Lake Oswego's release form. Copies of the form will be available to sign at the event.
