Got a technology question? Need a little guidance using library online resources? Look no further. Connect one-on-one with a Lake Oswego Public Library Tech Helper.
Drop-in Tech Help is our quick tech help option at the library. This program is available every day at the librarian service desks. No registration is required. Just walk in and spend 5-15 minutes with a librarian to ask your tech questions.
We can assist with:
- Using library resources (library account, library catalog, online databases, etc)
- Downloading an eBook or eAudiobook
We cannot assist with:
- Setting up a new device
- Fixing/Restoring/Repairing a broken or infected device, app, or email account
- Entering sensitive information for you (e.g. credit card information, social security number, online banking, etc.)
- Providing medical, legal, tax and business advice or opinions
- Keyboarding, typing, or proofreading documents
Tech Help Appointment is for questions needing more than 15 minutes of assistance. Please fill out the form below and we will contact you to confirm an appointment time.
We can assist with:
- Using your computer or device (smartphones, tablets, etc)
- Setting up an email account
- Using library resources (library account, library catalog, online databases, etc)
- Downloading an eBook or eAudiobook
We cannot assist with:
- Setting up a new device
- Fixing/Restoring/Repairing a broken or infected device, app, or email account
- Entering sensitive information for you (e.g. credit card information, social security number, online banking, etc.)

*Appointments are limited to one hour.
**If you need help with a smartphone, tablet or laptop please bring it with you.
***Remember to bring any usernames and passwords you might need so we can work successfully together.
****Staff may not be able to answer all questions; however, if we don't know the answer, we will do our best to steer you in the right direction.
