World Cinema Series: The Intouchables (French)

Join us for a screening of The Intouchables. Inspired by real events, the film follows a wealthy quadriplegic man and the unconventional young caregiver who upends his world, leading to a powerful and unlikely friendship that transcends class, culture, and circumstance. Originally presented in French, it will be shown with English subtitles. 

A special introduction will be given by Lake Oswego Library's own Eva Perinelle, a native French speaker. Stay after the screening to engage in a thought-provoking discussion about the film. 

The Intouchables is part of the Lake Oswego Public Library's World Cinema Series, a monthly event showcasing diverse international films.
