World Language Conversation Group
Welcome to the first meeting of the World Language Conversation Group! Our monthly meetings, now scheduled for the second Tuesday night of each month, are open to individuals at any language proficiency level, from beginners to bilingual speakers, including those learning English.
Join us to engage in discussions about stories, poems, or books in World Languages. If you're not fluent in another language, no problem—share your thoughts on translated works. Librarian April Younglove will be leading the group, and will be sharing about the book 'La Sombra del Viento,' but you're encouraged to choose and discuss any world literature that captures your interest. It's a welcoming space for language enthusiasts and book lovers alike!
This first event will also feature a giveaway of Korean books.
The meeting will be held in the Baars room at the library. The library is located at 706 Fourth Street, Lake Oswego. For more information, please contact April Younglove at 503-534-5667 or ayounglove@lakeoswego.city
