Emergency Water Distribution Demo 4/16
Learn how to fill your Emergency Water Containers after a prolonged water system disruption. Water Treatment Plant Operator, Cole Trusty, has devised a system that pulls potable water from fire hydrants. This invention can serve the hydration needs of your entire neighborhood. Two sessions will be offered, April 9 and 16.

Cole Trusty is a water operator and staff member at the Lake Oswego-Tigard Water Treatment Plant, known for leading tours and contributing to the facility's advanced operations, which uses ozone and filtration to provide high-quality drinking water for Lake Oswego and Tigard customers using Clackamas River source water. The plant, a collaboration between Lake Oswego and Tigard, significantly expanded in 2017 with new technologies and seismic resilience to serve over 90,000 people. Cole is also able to provide emergency water distribution training in Lake Oswego neighborhoods.
