Environmental Justice 2/24

Wednesday, February 24, 2021 - 10:00am to 11:00am

During this month with our community reading Caste, Lake Oswego Sustainability Network and Respond to Racism are pleased to be co-hosting a presentation on environmental justice. What is Environmental Justice? Why are communities of color disproportionately affected by toxins, poor air and water quality? Learn about the history of environmental justice, its importance, and what is happening now in Oregon.

Please join us to hear Victoria Paykar, Oregon Transportation Policy Manager, Climate Solutions.  She brings a wealth of experience to this topic with her work on programs and polices to deliver equitable climate benefits to low-income and communities of color.

Pre-registration is required.
