February 16: Three Different Backgrounds & Three Different Stories, followed by Teresa Schader from the Nike Foundation

Saturday, February 16, 11:00 a.m. at the Library
Emmanuel Habimana, Guellord Ndagijimana, and Matthew Rugamba are three Lewis & Clark College students from Rwanda. Listen as they share their stories of the genocide and discuss their plans for the future.

Following the panel, Nike Foundation employee Teresa Schader will be speaking about the girl effect - the unique potential of adolescent girls to end poverty for themselves and the world - and in particular, exciting work that is unleashing the girl effect in Rwanda.

All are looking ahead to contributing to Rwandan society and culture upon their return home.
