Lake Oswego resident Nathan Sheppard will discuss how a brush with racism forced him to confront the challenging realities with which people of color still wrestle. By reflecting on the sacrifices of those who came before him, Nathan found the courage to turn the deeply disturbing incident into a life-changing moment in time.
