First Tuesday Music: Bayou Boyz 2/4

Wednesday, February 5, 2020

Portland's own Bayou Boyz promise to "swampify your world" with Louisiana-style music that will evoke some of the coastal areas featured in our 2020 LO Reads title, Rising: Dispatches from the New American Shore, by Elizabeth Rush. This five-piece band, a mainstay of the Waterfront Blues Festival, plays a very fun mix of Louisiana blues, swamp pop, cajun, and funk. This promises to be a very fun, foot-stomping evening of music.

This free concert is made possible through the generosity of the Friends of the Lake Oswego Public Library. It will take place at the library, 706 Fourth Street, Lake Oswego, OR 97034. For more information, please call or email librarian Chris Myers at 503-534-5667 / cmyers@lakeoswego.city
