Isolation & Separation Anxiety - 2/23

Join Dr. John Schneider, a Portland psychologist and former Director of the Lewis & Clark College Counseling Center, for a talk and discussion about the importance of connection and the effects of isolation.  

Dr. Schneider served as Director of Student Counseling at Lewis and Clark College in Portland for thirty years.  He was Acting Dean of Students for two years and led numerous overseas programs to Japan, Scotland and Australia.

Prior to joining Lewis and Clark he was a psychologist and an Assistant Professor at Montana State University.

He is an avid cyclist and encourages daily exercise, meditation and positive psychology practices.

Dr. Schneider went to St. Thomas College, Denver Colorado for his B.A. and  earned a M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska. He also spent two years working for the Navajo Tribe in Arizona.
