The world’s scientific community tends to agree about the presence, scope and development of climate change and the range of challenges it presents to communities around the globe. Yet in the United States, only minimal progress has been made toward adopting a climate change policy agenda. Join Dr. Jack Miller, a political science professor at Portland State University and host of the Pothole Problem podcast, for an examination of how the U.S. electoral system and interest-group competition have created roadblocks for environmental activists and sidetracked progress on policies intended to address the threat of climate change.
