Youth Programs at Luscher

Luscher Farm offers a vast variety of programs for youth with a focus on organic education. From summer camps, to Farm Saturdays to cooking programs--there is something for everyone.

Camps and Classes:  For details on summer and holiday break camps, no school day classes, and other youth programs, click here.

Barnyard Tales: Bring your little one (ages 5 and under) to Luscher for story time and some fun farm-themed activities. Parents or guardians must accompany children. Please register ahead of time as space is limited. Please register each child attending if you are bringing more than one child.

Farm Field Trips: The farm offers field trips for elementary and preschool age children. Let the farm be your classroom and learn about raising livestock, organic gardening, composting, pollination, and more. Minimum group size is 10 children, maximum group size is 75 children. $7 per child, and chaperones are free, payment is due upon arrival. This spring, Field Trips will be offered on Wednesdays only from 10am-11:30am, between April 17-June 5.  If interested, please contact Izzy Sigrist at isigrist@lakeoswego.city.

Children's Garden: Families and children are invited to make connections with the natural world in this stimulating and special place for people and plants. Please enjoy your visit to the garden by investigating the beautiful surroundings. Children look, listen, touch and taste in this incredible “outdoor classroom”.
