About the Study
Purpose
The purpose of the McVey/Stafford Corridor Vision Study is to:
- establish existing conditions, needs, and constraints regarding transportation along the roadway,
- develop a concept plan identifying potential improvements to create a safer, and more comfortable environment for the traveling public - whether walking, taking transit, driving, using a mobility device, or riding a bike,
- highlight critical connections between neighborhoods, business areas, community assets, and key development sites.
This study is part of the City Council’s 2022 and 2023 goals to improve transportation connections, mobility and safety for all travelers and for all types of trips in Lake Oswego.
Scope
The scope of the study includes McVey Avenue to Stafford Road, from State Street (OR 43) to Overlook Drive in Lake Oswego.
