DMV Scam

There is a recurring scam involving fraudulent text messages claiming to be from the Oregon DMV. These messages typically demand payment for unpaid tolls or traffic tickets and urge recipients to click on malicious links to make payments. The Oregon DMV will never contact individuals via text message requesting personal information or payment. If you receive such a text, ignore it, delete it, and block the sender.
