Join us for a free, public lecture in the "Pints from the Past" series at the Lake Theatre, State Street, Lake Oswego.  "The Pig War," an illustrated presentation, examines the confrontation of the United States and Great Britain between 1859 and 1871 in the San Juan Islands of Puget Sound.

Performing Arts September: Portland Guitar Duo

The Portland Guitar Duo focus on Historical Interpretation and perform on a number of instruments from the guitar and lute families such as Renaissance, Baroque lutes and Mandora, Baroque guitars, Romantic guitars of the 1800s, Modern Classical guitars and 10-string guitars.

The Drawing Workshop Series will focus on improving drawing skills through observation and technique.  Call 503.675.2540 to sign up!

Students will be let in at the front of the library, before we open at 10:00 am.
