The Before Hours Teen Book Club is an informal book hangout for teens who enjoy reading on their own terms. Instead of reading a specific title together each month, teens will read whatever they like (graphic novels, poetry, biographies, cookbooks, romantasy, etc).
Every month, we feature a new veggie, herb, flower, or native seed that you can plant right away. We’ll also have a limited number of free, grab-and-go Seed of the Month packets available.

There are a number of ways you can dispose of your Halloween pumpkin - you can put it in your compost pile, you can put it in your yard debris container for curbside collection, or... you can toss it off the training tower at the Westlake Fire Station!
Bring your pumpkins, carved or not, to Westlake Park, 14165 Bunick Drive, on November 2 between 2 and 5 p.m. to take part in this free, fun event. Participants will climb the tower and toss their pumpkin to a target below.
Hosted by the Lake Oswego Fire Department, and joined by Lake Oswego Police and Library, this event supports Hunger Fighters Oregon. To help, please bring a donation of non-expired, non-perishable food items.
Join Sharon Gan, founder of Heart Strings Mandarin, for a program specially designed for young learners.
Storytimes at the library are a hoot! Thursday afternoon storytimes are designed for babies 0-12 months old. We'll read stories, sing songs, blow bubbles, and have fun spending time together.
