This month's event is hosted by Norm Gholston, Preservation Program Manager at the Architectural Heritage Center of Portland and Board Member of Portland's Chinatown Museum, on the topic of Asylum and Cemetery - A talk about Hawthorne Asylum and the nearby Lone Fir Cemetery.

In a cozy library basement, you’re a creative young person surrounded by a treasure trove of craft supplies. The variety is daunting, but you’re not alone—you are joined by several peers on their own craft journeys. What will you make?
Well Wishes is a volunteer letter and card writing party for teens interested in spreading joy! Participants will gather in the children’s library before we open to the public and write uplifting correspondence to folks who could use some encouragement.
Mark and Helena Greathouse blend music, storytelling, and cultural tradition in this engaging one-hour program featuring traditional Czech holiday songs, spirited accordion melodies, and lively folk dances.
