Information about public engagement opportunities will be shared below and through social media accounts and news releases to local media outlets. We're excited to announce the recruitment for our Community Advisory Committee, which will play a vital role in shaping the goals and recommendations of Parks Plan 2040.

Are you passionate about parks, natural areas, recreational programs, and the overall well-being of our community? This is your chance to make a real difference!

About Parks Plan 2040:

The purpose of updating the Park, Recreation, and Natural Areas system plan is to develop a comprehensive view of how our parks, facilities, programs, and services work together to serve the community. Parks Plan 2040 will determine how we provide parks, recreation opportunities, natural areas, and human services to the community through the year 2040.

Why Join the Committee:

Influence the design and development of parks, trails, and open spaces. Collaborate with city officials, planners, and fellow community members. Champion sustainability, inclusivity, and recreational opportunities for all abilities and ages. Leave a lasting impact on Lake Oswego's landscape for generations to come.

Commitment and Details:

CAC members will meet up to seven times between September 2023 and February 2025 to provide input and advise the project team on key deliverables such as goals, needs, future projects, and implementation strategies. No prior experience is required.
