Arts Council of Lake Oswego
The Arts Council of Lake Oswego (ACLO) administers and implements the City of Lake Oswego's Arts Programs. ACLO works to ensure the arts are an integral part of life in our community, now and into the future, with the purpose of placement and preservation of public art in Lake Oswego, providing access to art exhibitions for residents and visitors and advancing lifelong learning about the arts through educational programs and docent tours. ACLO manages The Gallery Without Walls outdoor sculpture exhibit including the annual People's Choice Awards. ACLO has many exhibitions and art sales opportunities such as Holiday Marketplace featuring many items from local artists. ACLO Artspace gallery space is located in City Hall at 380 A Avenue, Suite A, Lake Oswego, OR 97034.
The ACLO also establishes and oversees a Public Art Committee (PAC) whose duty is to maintain the public art collection and review and recommend accessions and deaccessions to and from the City's art collection. The PAC meets once monthly and meetings are open to the public, The meetings are held on the third Monday of each month at 2 pm with the exception of Monday holiday dates.
