Bryant Woods Nature Park
Bryant Woods Park is a 28.55-acre wildlife-rich site containing a seasonal wetland/meadow, upland forested area, and a natural spring with an associated creek. Bordered by Oswego Canal, the park is accessible from a small gravel parking area off Childs and Canal Road. There are 0.87 miles of trails, primarily soft-surface, accessible from the parking area. The park also has 2 benches/seating and an interpretive kiosk.
Bryant Woods is one of three parcels of land that make up the area known as the “Canal Area”. These natural areas, with an abundance of ecological diversity, offer great opportunities for wildlife viewing. This collection of neighborhood parks is supported and maintained in part by funding through the Metro Nature in Neighborhoods capital grant. This grant supports improving water and air quality, fish and wildlife habitats, and connecting people to nature.
