May 6, SA           9:00 – 11:00 am

(Springbrook Park:  50.49 acres of natural areas and Springbrook Creek)

Mother Earth needs some helping hands to spruce up Springbrook Park and remove invasive plants! Native plants and animals will thrive as the eco balance is restored. Join Friends of Springbrook Park as they eradicate the ivy that smothers the native species. This 50 acre park hosts babbling Springbrook Creek that feeds Oswego Lake. Explore 2 miles of winding trails, cross over a couple footbridges and soak up the natural beauty of the forest.  Please wear sturdy shoes, bring gloves and water to drink.

Park at: 2055 Wembley Park Rd. (Uplands Grade School). Springbrook Park is behind the soccer field of Uplands Grade School.
