Owning Our Stories & Living Our Truth

Hear a voice of inspiration as New York Times bestselling author of Wild, Cheryl Strayed, shares her courageous life story about what she has learned, what she knows know, and its evolution into global success. This talk is to inspire us all to appreciate the life we have lived, honor the lessons we have learned, and empower us to embrace what lies ahead! Owning our Stories & Living Our Truth, a talk with Cheryl Strayed is presented as the opening event of the award winning "Living Well" talk series put on the Lake Oswego Adult Community Center. Georgena Eggleston Bio: Georgena Eggleston, MA, trauma specialist and grief guide, became a complicated griever after burying the bodies of her brother, father-in-law, mother, father, and teenage son in three and a half years. After discovering where grief lived in her body through the Rubenfeld Synergy Method®, Georgena continued her deep personal work and became a certified synergist. Knowing we will all experience grief, Georgena teaches mindful grieving and intentional mourning so people have the tools to move beyond their grief. She is the mother of two sons and loves yoga and flower arranging. Georgena lives in Portland, Oregon.
