Roehr Park Pathway Project

The pathway project will improve access to trails by regrading and replacing 1600 lineal feet of asphalt paved trail in addition to:

  • Removal of three small wood bridges and construction of one new pre-fab wood bridge;
  • Culvert installations; and
  • Improved signage and landscaping.
Project Background / Summary:

Roehr Park sits on a developed riverfront along the Willamette River. Due to the decline of Roehr pathway, Council directed Parks staff to make improvements to the area.

Project Updates:

July 2020: Protective fencing is in place and erosion control measures are being implemented. The culverts and footbridge will be installed in the near future and repaving will begin shortly afterward. Please note that this is an active construction site with many hazards. During construction, the pathway will be closed past the amphitheater.
