Stafford Road Traffic Impact Update

NOTICE FOR THE MONTH OF APRIL AND MAY!

This month, lane closures and flaggers will continue work on Stafford Road on weekdays, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., for waterline installation and PGE work. This will result in traffic impacts. Please plan accordingly.

▶️Week of 4/29, work on the roadway will continue to lay asphalt and smooth out the area where the waterline work was completed along the Recreation & Aquatic Center.

KEY INFORMATION:

  • During work hours, expect delays and plan extra travel time along Stafford.
  • At times, traffic signals at Overlook and Stafford may be temporarily off, and flaggers will manually direct traffic.
  • Watch for signage and obey the flagger's directions.
  • Access to driveways or side streets may be temporarily closed when equipment needs to access that area.
  • Pedestrian access on Stafford Road is available via the pathway on the south side of the road.
  • Work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
  • The City is making every effort not to interrupt bus schedules

HAZELIA OVERFLOW PARKING LOT CLOSURE AND STAFFORD LANE CLOSURES - TIMING IS TBD

The gravel overflow parking lot south of Hazelia Field will be temporarily closed during the installation of new street lights along the east side of Stafford Road, adjacent to the Luscher Farm property. The lot will be closed starting February 26 - March 1, 2024.

During this time, users wanting to access Hazelia Field or the Stafford Basin Trail may still park in the Hazelia Field parking lot to the north. The trail and park will remain open during construction, along with access to the Library Drop Box.
