Parks Stewardship Program Information

Are you looking to volunteer in our stewardship program? Please help us create a healthy habitat for plants, pollinators, birds, and animals. Scroll down to see the calendar listings.

What will I do?

Plant native species
Remove invasive species
Refresh park trails
Learn about native birds, plants, and pollinators

How do I volunteer? Just show up at the work party site! 

Any forms to fill out? Nope! Just sign in at the work party site.

What do I bring? 

Bring work gloves and water to drink.

What do I wear? 

Dress for the weather and wear closed-toe shoes. 

Can I bring a group with me? 

Please call or email the work party contact to see if the work party can accommodate a group.

Before attending: Check lo-stewardship.org for work party cancelations due to weather or conditions beyond control.
