Stewardship Work Party at East Waluga Park 2.17.24

Saturday, February 24, 2024 - 9:00am to 11:00am

SA  9 - 11 am 

Friends of Waluga Parks will work in a new area to restore the natural habitat. We'll remove invasive species by the water reservoir above the Heritage Hills neighborhood.  Please bring work gloves and water to drink.

Attire: Pants, a long sleeve shirt and/or jacket, gloves and sturdy shoes are needed for the work site conditions.

Parking: 15505 Quarry Rd. (East Waluga Park) We'll walk up thru the quarry to the worksite.  OR  Park on Parkhill St. and walk to the work site. Look for Stewardship Work Party signs.

Restrooms: Available at East Waluga Park

Stay home if you have symptoms of any contagious illness or had recent contact with someone exhibiting symptoms of any illness.
