What is a Seasonal Court Reservation?

A seasonal reservation at Lake Oswego Indoor Tennis Center is a weekly court reservation that a holder can utilize throughout the given season. LOTC determines reservation holders through a randomized lottery. The lottery is an opportunity for frequent Tennis Center participants to submit their interest in a 18 to 20-week recurring court reservation. See registration and reservation guidelines below.

Standard Seasons

Fall Season = September 1st to January 18th (19-20 weeks)

Winter/Spring Season = January 19th to May 31st (18-19 weeks)

Seasonal Lottery Guidelines

• Submissions will open Saturday, June 1st and close Monday, July 15th at noon. 
• Completed submission forms will be entered into a lottery draw after the submission form closes. *Submitting a form does not guarantee court time.
• Persons entering the lottery and reserving seasonal time must be age 18 and over.
• Only one entry per person is allowed in the lottery. Duplicates will be disregarded. Submitting entries for people other than yourself is prohibited. All members of a playing group may submit their own entry.
• It is not necessary to submit/agree to a court time upon submission.
• Lake Oswego residents have priority placement over non-residents.

Seasonal Lottery Process

1. An e-mail will be sent out to LOTC Newsletter subscribers with notice that the Seasonal Lottery is open (subscribe down below.)

2. The Seasonal Lottery will open to residents and non-residents on June 1st.

• Only ONE submission per person. Duplicates will be disregarded. 
• List yourself and ONE contact or, list TWO contacts who will be available to answer the phone

3. Submissions will be accepted until July 12th at noon.

4. Using a virtual randomized lottery machine, names will be drawn after the lottery closes.

5. The provided contacts of lottery picks will be contacted in the order the name was drawn. 

• Contacts listed on the submission form must be available during this time to answer the phone. 
• During the call, the person contacted is required to make a decision on a day and time. 
• Lake Oswego residents will be contacted first. Non-residents will be contacted after all LO residents have been contacted one time.

6. Once all seasonal reservations are finalized, you will receive confirmation and be prompted for payment.

7. Payment is due no later than one week from the date the confirmation is sent. 

IMPORTANT DATES

• Sat June 1st – Seasonal Lottery submissions OPEN
• Mon July 15th – Seasonal Lottery submissions CLOSE
• Wed July 17th - Calls to Lottery picks BEGIN
• Fri July 19th - Calls to Lottery picks END

Seasonal Reservation Guidelines

• The term, "reservation holder," refers to the individual whose name is on the submission form and who, in turn, may be picked in the lottery. 
• Submissions and lottery picks are not transferable. The reservation holder must be the name on the reservation for the first and second season.
• Reservation holders are allowed to make one seasonal reservation per week and are required to make a minimum of 18 total reservations per relevant season term (Sept - Jan and Jan - May). Courts are reservable Monday through Sunday, from 6am to 9pm. The minimum reservable court time is 1 hour and the maximum reservable court time is 1.5 hours OR 2 hours if the chosen time slot is 6am or 8pm.
• The reservation holder is responsible for access to the Lake Oswego Indoor Tennis Center. Key cards are required when the office is closed (I.e. outside of business hours, City of Lake Oswego and LOPR observed holidays, inclement weather, staff illness, other unforeseeable events.) Key cards can be purchased or renewed at the LOTC front desk for $20.00.
• Upon reservation, reservation holders agree to abide by all policies, procedures, rules and guidelines of the Lake Oswego Indoor Tennis Center and Lake Oswego Parks & Recreation. 
• Reservation holders are responsible for being aware and knowledgeable of all person(s) utilizing the court during their scheduled seasonal reservation.
