Pathways Under Design
Pedestrian improvements are coming soon to portions of Carman Drive and Pilkington Road. Shaped by feedback from the community, available roadway space, and technical analysis, designs are now complete on these sidewalks.
In late 2025/2026, design will be kicking off for two more sidewalks: McEwan Road from SW 65th to Kristi Way, and Bryant Road, from Upper Drive to Lakeview Boulevard.
Design is complete for the new sidewalk on Carman Drive, between Waluga Drive and Quarry Road.
Construction for the Carman Drive sidewalk project is planned for 2026.
The City will be building a new sidewalk on Pilkington Road, from Boones Ferry Road to Willow Road, and from Willow Road to Lakeview Boulevard. Shaped by feedback from the community, available roadway space, and technical analysis, designs were completed in spring 2025.
Construction is planned for 2026.
In 2025, Lake Oswego City Council approved moving forward with completing design of a new sidewalk on McEwan Road, between SW 65th Avenue and Kristi Way. This project is a partnership with the Lake Oswego School District (LOSD) and provides a critical connection to the River Grove Elementary School.
